Tucson: Arizona Repertory Theatre auditions for BILOXI BLUES

The Arizona Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for BILOXI BLUES on Saturday April 8.


General auditions will be held from 12-1 pm, with callbacks beginning at 2pm in Room 125 of the Theatre Arts Building, located at the SE corner of Park & Speedway Blvds.


Please prepare a contemporary monologue no longer than 2 minutes. 


Sides will be provided for the callbacks. 


No AEA contracts are available, stipend will be provided.


Actors are sought for the roles of Sergeant Toomey and Rowena


Sgt. Merwin J. Toomey – Southerner – Smart and hard core Army. Mid 30’s to early 40’s.


Rowena – Just like the woman next door only she makes ends meet by turning tricks.  World wise and a Southerner.  Early to late 30’s. 


Biloxi Blues will be directed by ART Artistic Director Brent Gibbs.  Rehearsals begin May 9.  Production will run June 11-25 and August 30-September 10.
