For Immediate Release

Free "Aladdin" in City Park

Bisbee's Obscure Productions will open "Aladdin" on June 22, 2007, in
Bisbee's historic City Park. Thanks to the support of individuals,
businesses and foundations, and the hard work of BOP's cast and crew, the
show will be free to the community.

Not the Disney "Aladdin, " this is a funny adaptation of the translation by
explorer Richard Burton, brought to life by a talented cast that ranges in
age from 6 to 66. Performances will be June 22, 23 and 24, 2007 at 7:30 pm
each night. Bisbee's City Park is located in Old Bisbee down Brewery Gulch
and up the stairs.

This "Aladdin" will feature Chance Barnett as Aladdin, Christa Smith as the
evil magician Fakir, Kimber Silva-Munsey as the Genie, Bronwen Di Campli as
Princess Rosebud, and Michael Holland in the cameo role of Aladdin's father.
A group of Street Rats and Warriors includes Bree Holcomb, Rachel Kuntz and
Esmé and Nora Froning.

This production is supported by the City of Bisbee, the Bisbee Arts
Commission and the Bisbee Foundation. Although the production will be free,
more donations are needed to cover the costs of costumes and sets. All
contributions are tax deductible and will be gratefully accepted and
acknowledged.
