Tucson Regional Ballet's presentation of the classic Nutcracker ballet is set in the 1880s and tells the story of Maria and her journey with the nutcracker through historical Tucson and the Southwest. This full-length ballet takes place at Tucson Music Hall, and captures the unique history of Arizona with live music by the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and performances by a company that includes dancing chili peppers, coyotes, cavalry, and rattlesnakes.
