Subject: Tuesday's IFA Elevator Pitch Meeting

 

Tuesday's Independent Film Arizona meeting (Tuesday, August 4, 7 PM, Connect, 33 South Fifth Avenue) is going to be an Elevator Pitch Meeting.  It will be a series of cinematographers and actors giving a short, tight pitch on how to do one aspect of acting or filmmaking well.  One person will give a pitch on how to write a successful screenplay, the next will pitch might be how to light a room, the next will pitch could be effective make up, and the next pitch on how to be a good editor.

 

The subject can be really broad (e.g., lighting) or really narrow (e.g., handheld camera shots going up or down staircases).

 

Do you want to make an elevator pitch on a subject of your own choosing?  Just show up on Tuesday, August 4 at 7 PM, Connect, 33 South Fifth Avenue in Tucson.  IFA meetings are free and open to all.

 

To make it a little more fun, we are going to give a $100 to the pitch the audience likes best.
