TEN-MINUTE PLAY SUBMISSIONS

Winding Road Theater Ensemble is now accepting submissions for its inaugural production of "Eight 10s in Tucson"

 

Tucson, AZ, Sept. 1, 2018 - Winding Road Theater Ensemble announced a call for submission of ten-minute plays for its new 10-minute play festival, "Eight 10s in Tucson". The festival runs April 25 through May 5, 2019, at The Cabaret Theatre, Temple of Music & Art in downtown Tucson.

 

Eight plays will be selected, including one from an Arizona playwright and one youth playwright (age 16 to 21).

 

Submissions must be delivered electronically via the Winding Road website. Basic criteria include:

• Script should be written so as to have a minimum run-time of 8 (eight) minutes up to a maximum of 10 (ten) minutes
• Submissions must be original works
• All themes/genres accepted
• Legal clearance of materials is the full responsibility of the playwright
• Standard play formatting is required (fonts, margins, page numbering, etc.)
• Scripts must be submitted as PDF files (no exceptions)
• ONLY         1 (ONE) submission per playwright
• Submissions must be received on or before midnight, September 30, 2018
