The University of Arizona Center on Aging
Need Actors!

We are looking for actors to serve as "specialized patients" to help improve medical provider communication skills when dealing with patients with serious illness. Standardized Patients play a critical role in training physicians for serious illness communication.

This is a paid position ($15/hour) in 2-hour blocks.

  1. Resident Training Program— one-hour resident training (paid
    for two hours) on Wednesday afternoons in March and April of
    2020
  2. Faculty Training Program—periodic trainings for faculty held in the evenings, January—June 2020 (2 hours each session), practice communication and give feedback.

We provide training (2 hours) in the serious illness communication curriculum. Trainings to take place at Banne-r-bnivélsity Medical Center locations.
