Subject: ARIZONA ONSTAGE PRODUCTIONS - SEE JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA FOR FREE!!!

Dear Friends of the Tucson Theatre Community,

On Saturday November 5th, Arizona Onstage Productions will have a fund raiser called TRASH AND TREASURE – JERRY SPRINGER GOES TO HELL.  This is three doses of insanity that can only be found in the mind of Jerry Springer and his “guests of honor”.

Dose 1 – Stephanie Sikes, Edmon Yohannes, and Liz Redman (with music director Diane Thomas) will present a mini-recital from the London Hit JERRY SPRINGER – THE OPERA.

Dose 2 – The popular comedy team of NOT BURNED OUT JUST UNSCREWED  will take to the Jerry Springer set for 25 minutes of improve that will be wild and chair-thrown crazy!

Intermission – finger foods served with attitude by female illusionist Trai’ La Trash and pink haired twins Shaniqua and Grace Lushious Jackson the3rd  - watch out for your purses and wallets!  There will be a cash beer and wine bar.

Dose 3 – Courtesy of the BBC, The United States Broadcast premiere of the London hit musical JERRY SPRINGER – THE OPERA will be presented on a large screen in great booming stereo sound.  This is not available anywhere on video or DVD.  This show ran for over 700 performances to rave reviews, and won all four of the highly coveted BEST MUSICAL awards for 2004.  It is currently on tour in Europe with bookings going into 2007.

“A bruising, shocking, irresistibly funny masterpiece – intelligent, superbly choreographed and utterly hilarious entertainment” – John Peters, The Sunday Times

Please note that this production contains extreme language and religious references that some may consider offensive.  Go to www.jerryspringertheopera.com for a video clip, or www.arizoaonstageproductions for local information.

Tickets are $20 with advance reservation, $25 at the door.  Tax receipts will be available.

HOW CAN I GET IN FOR FREE???

The Arizona State Tax Credit program is a way to donate a certain amount of money to a specific school, and you receive the entire amount, dollar for dollar back in your return!  It is easier than ever.  There is no longer a need to fill out a “long form” or itemize.

If you file single, you may donate $200.  If you file jointly, you may donate $300.  If you owe state taxes, this entire amount will be taken out of your taxes owed.  If you do not owe the state that amount (or any amount!)  you receive a check from the state of Arizona for the full amount donated.  I am the Theatre Arts Director of The BASIS School, a free to the public school known for high academic and artistic standards.  Arizona Onstage Productions works closely with this school in artistic projects throughout the year.  We are currently trying to fund projects including BRUNDIBAR – a children’s opera that was performed in Terezin, a concentration camp.  This production will be held at The Temple of Music and Arts on April 1st.

WHAT DO I GET IF I MAKE MY TAX CREDIT DONATION?

There will be a representative at ZUZI Theater to further discuss the benefits of this program. They are also authorized to give you your official tax receipt in person instead of waiting for it to be mailed for you. If you make a donation of the full amount allowed, or sign a pledge form that you will make the donation by December 20th to the BASIS School –attention Theatre Arts program you get:

2 free admissions to TRASH AND TREASURE – JERRY SPRINGER GOES TO HELL – value - $40 - $50
