Waypoint Theatre Company, southern Arizona’s non-profit, faith-based theatre company, will present the family Christmas comedy, “It’s Christmas, and It’s Live!” at the Mountain View Recreation Center Social Hall auditorium, 1495 East Rancho Vistoso Boulevard, in northwest Tucson, Friday, December 1, Saturday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3 at 7 p.m.

It’s Christmas Eve, l952, and a small, northeastern TV studio is getting ready for the live broadcast of its Christmas special.  The set is wrong, the props are falling apart, the special guest star is a heart throb with a recent back injury, and to make matters worse—a blizzard has hit the city and most of the cast and crew can’t make it into the studio.  The director is pulling his hair out, when in walk the “Harmonaires”, an amateur singing group straight from Dubuque, Iowa.  There’s more surprises in store that will bounce the audience from laughter to tears and back again.  Lots of holiday classic music favorites, and fun for the family.

Reserved seating tickets go on sale at noon, November 15,  for the family Christmas comedy,  with all reserved seating tickets only $10 per person.  To purchase tickets or for more information, call 825-6674, 742-9079, or visit the company’s web site at www.waypoint-theatre.org.
