Mission Impossible: A sophisticated New York
restaurant critic will travel to small town in Pennsylvania. Here, he must first tell a father that his daughter is getting married, to him, next week-end! Then he must convince the father to attend the wedding the very next weekend! And if this wasn’t enough, this poor critic has never met his future father-in-law and they have nothing in common—the father likes diners for God’s sake! Now throw into the mix an elderly neighbor who has her eye set on the widowed father, dad’s hunting buddy and a nervous refugee from New York. The only thing the father and son-in-law-to-be have in common is their dislike for each other, and the love for a vintage bright Yellow 1947 Ford. Will the wedding ever take place?
Find out in this humorous and humane story.
