Tucson: Actors, bring stories to life for children

Actors - Keep your skills sharp while giving back to your community. Be a member of BookPALS www.bookpals.net - they need actors to read aloud to children. Annual Training in January-see notice below. BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools is a national literacy program sponsored by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation (you don't have to be union to participate). By bringing stories to life with your talents, you make reading fun, and kids want to read for themselves...that's what it's all about. All it takes is one hour a week.
