Subject: Casting call...Help!

Hello...

Richard Chaney here. You may know me as a member of Old Pueblo Playwrights.
This is my CRY FOR HELP.

I am casting and directing a play ("Daddy") for a 2-performance
full-production at the end of April.
"Daddy" will be part of an LBGT Festival ("First Words: Relativity") and
will be staged at The Loft by Stark Naked Productions.

"Daddy" calls for three African-American actors: two men (age span 19-25
and 38-50) and one woman (age 19-25). The playwright is Chuck Cummings, who
lives in Los Angeles. He has written for television primarily (BET).
"Daddy" was previously produced in California. Given what I see as the
scarcity of Black actors in Tucson, I am hoping to be able to read actors
prior to the Festival's open auditions at the end of February.

"Daddy" is a two-act play about a 19-year-old woman, pregnant and ready to
deliver, who arrives on the doorstep of her bisexual father and his younger
white lover. She is being pursued by her Afrocentric boyfriend. It is a
comedy\drama about family.

Please pass this information on to anyone you know who might be interested
in reading for this play or have those folks contact me.

Thank you very much.
