FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DECEMBER 27, 2005

The C.A.S.T.-Clean and Sober Theatre

is looking for young people to tell their personal stories with this dynamic
theatre troupe. ALSO, looking for supporting cast members.

Auditions now through January 31

. The C.A.S.T. is composed of young people between the ages of 13 and
23 whose lives have been impacted by addiction, either through their own use
or that of a family member or friend.

. They undergo intensive training to gain insight into the pressures
affecting their addiction and recovery, help create a script, and then take
the stage to reveal the progression of the disease, the impact on family
members and the challenges of recovery.

. The C.A.S.T. performs at high schools, middle schools, elementary
schools, treatment centers, and conferences, educating young people,
families, and the professionals that serve them, on issues regarding drug
and alcohol use and addictive disease.

. Cast members rehearse 12-16 hours/week throughout the year

. Cast members perform 1-3 shows per week during the school year

. Cast members are paid for rehearsals and performances and
contracted through June.

The C.A.S.T. is a program of Compass Health Care, a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization, which provides alcohol and other drug addiction treatment,
prevention, and education programs for all those in need, regardless of
their ability to pay.
