Head on down this weekend to the 2nd Annual Tucson Music & Film
Festival this Labor Day weekend
Friday September 1st thru Monday September 4th 2006 in sunny downtown
Tucson Arizona!

Come celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Club Congress & Tucson's 231st
birthday with 3 days and nights of music on 3 stages with over 50
bands, including Howe Gelb, Fishbone, Dave Alvin, John Doe, Doo Rag,
The Drakes, Al Perry, Pork Torta, River Roses, Weird Lovemakers, Al
Foul & The Shakes, Pollo Elastico, Star Crunch and more! During the
day, get out of the heat to see an incredible line-up of features,
documentaries, shorts, that are chock full of Tucson, music or both!
As luck would have it several bands playing are also featured in the
movies we're screening!

Film festival highlights include: the world premiere of Going Back to
Tucson: Live at Hotel Congress, a concert movie filled to the brim with
Tucson music from last year_s Club Congress 20th anniversary event,
Arizona premieres of SXSW fave Before The Music Dies (Steve Poltz,
Elvis Costello and Calexico), and Ghost on the Highway (a portrait of
Gun Club frontman Jeffrey Lee Pierce). Also screening: Valley Fever:
Green On Red - Live at the Rialto, indie rock feature Border Radio
(directed by Allison Anders starring John Doe and Dave Alvin) and the
return of last year_s inaugural film, the Tucson music scene
documentary, High And Dry!

All films at the Screening Room, 127 E. Congress Ave just 2 block from
Hotel Congress. All Film + Music wristbands are $30 available or at the
