Remember those "After School Specials" and message dramas we
used to watch, and how much we laughed at the lessons they were clumsily
trying to teach to kids?  Where did they go wrong, and why do so many such
shows continue to get it wrong?  Because they're written by adults.  The
Advanced Drama class at Tucson High wants to change that.

To create this completely original work, the class chose as
their subject "Stereotypes & Expectations." All of the students then set to
work creating their own material around these ideas: some solo, some with a
partner, some with a large group.  Through scenes & monologues ranging from
deeply dramatic to wildly comic, ...in a perfect world emerges as one
multi-layered voice from the youth of today - and is unlike anything written
"for" teenagers you've ever seen.
