Bisbee's Obscure Productions Announces Auditions for "The Oldest Profession"

Bisbee's Obscure Productions will be auditioning for its upcoming production
"The Oldest Profession" by Paula Vogel. This is a drama with music about
five "women of the night," somewhat past their prime, trying to earn a
living in the age of Reaganomics. A script is available for reading at the
Copper Queen Library, 6 Main Street, in Old Bisbee.

Auditions will be held Sunday, December 17, by appointment only, at Dance
Arts Studios at 317 Arizona Street next to the Warren Post Office. All roles
are open for women to play "beyond middle-aged."
Women should bring their calendars, a memorized 1-3 minute monologue and a
somewhat bawdy song, preferably a cappella or with recorded accompaniment.

Rehearsals for "The Oldest Profession" will be Saturdays, Sundays, and
selected Friday afternoons from January 7-March 4. Evening rehearsals will
be added closer to the performance. Performances will be weekend evenings
and matinees March 9-17, at the Bisbee Woman's Club.

For more information and an appointment, call (520) 236-1754 or email
bisbeesobscure@gmail.com.
