Location(s) (Filming, Production or Performance) : one day in a park, one
week in a hotel.
Preparation :
one minute monologue, women's monologue should convey anger. Men's monologue
should be authoritative.
Payment (Amount, Parameters, Timeframe, Meals, etc.):
SAG adjusted budget rate -$248.00 per day, 3 day min.
One week max. Actors do not need to be SAG members.
Cast Breakdown, Parts or Roles (Gender, Age Range, Physical Type, etc.):
Don (male)- 30-50 a case-manager at a homeless shelter, authority figure,
5'8 or taller, any ethnicity.
Crystal ( female)-20-30 a homeless woman with lots of emotional baggage,
5'10'' or smaller, any ethnicity.
She is the protagonist.
Rough Outline of Time Commitment (Rehearsal Schedule, Shooting Schedule,
Etc.):
One week shooting and rehearsal schedule -March. 22-29 Additional
Notes:actors must be comfortable playing risque material; however, there
will be no violence or nudity and nothing in the storyline is exploitative
or blatantly offensive. Actors must be willing to express light physical
affection with each other.
This film will be an excellent opportunity for two actors to showcase their
talents because the film will be a drama piece that relies heavily on good
acting.
