For Immediate Press Release:

Catalina Players to Host

“Night of Theatrics”

Catalina Players, one of Tucson’s longest running theater companies, is pleased to announce an open house filled with scene readings, improvs, monologues or a play you’ve written that you want to see acted, bring it with you (you never know it could one day be added to Catalina’s season) and just a fun evening of theater. We love local playwrights!  If you’re planning to audition somewhere in the future and have this great monologue you want heard, let us hear it.

If you are a seasoned actor or one who ponders the question, how do they do it and always wanted to get in front of the spotlight, this night can’t be missed.

Bill Fikaris & Leslie Miller (our resident, award-winning directors) will be hosting the event.  You will be asked to participate in scene readings from classic shows as well as new shows making there way to Broadway, as well as some improvisation and theatrical games.

It will just be a relaxed night of theatrical fun where you’re not auditioning or being reviewed.  Just a night where the Tucson theater community can get together to share and enjoy the life of the true “thespian”.  So join us now!

Date:  Friday, January 26th, 2007

Time:  7:00pm

Place:  Christ Presbyterian Church

6565 E. BROADWAY (between Wilmot & Kolb)

Any questions, call Priscilla 304-9171
