Reminder: Beowulf Alley Theatre Holds Auditions for Humble Boy
Tucson, Ariz. (Jan. 17, 2008)— Beowulf Alley Theatre Company, 11 S. 6th Ave., will hold auditions for Humble Boy by Charlotte Jones, directed by Arizona Daily Star’s 2007 MAC Award Best Director, Howard Allen. Auditions are on Sun., Jan. 20, 2008, from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Callbacks will be held the evening of Wed., Jan. 23, 2008. Needed are 1 man-30ish, 2 men-50ish, 1 woman-30ish, 2 women-50ish. Auditioners are asked to prepare two, one-minute contrasting monologues and bring a resume and headshot.
Rehearsals will begin the week of March 9th . Final schedule will be determined by the director in collaboration with the cast. Tech is scheduled between May 1 and May 9, 2008. Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. from May 10, 2008 – June 1, 2008. Stipends are paid.
