Bisbee's Obscure Productions Presents "Snapshots"

Bisbee's Obscure Productions will open the comedy "Snapshots" by Cynthia Mercati on Friday, January 25, 2008. "Snapshots" follows three women from their teens in the 1960s obsessed with Elvis and Steve McQueen, into the 90s wondering how they've done. Their lives go from the rollicking silly through anger and dreams and joy and back to some wry humor. Carol, Hollis and Sherry dream about the Beatles, try consciousness raising and group therapy, and poke fun at work, Sunday school, and soccer moms.

"Snapshots" will play Fridays and Saturdays, January 25 and 26 and February 1 and 2, at 7:30 pm. There will also be a matinee at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 3. All shows will be at the Bisbee Woman's Club, 7 Ledge Avenue on Quality Hill in Old Bisbee.

The BOP production of "Snapshots" will be presented in both English and American Sign Language. Two actors portray each character, voice and sign aligned to be enjoyed equally by hearing and Deaf audience members. A multimedia "thought balloon" slide show adds to the fun. There will be mature themes and language.

Tickets are $10 in advance at Atalanta's Music & Books, Bisbee Food Coop and Bisbee Visitors' Center. Tickets can be ordered by mail from BOP at PO Box 277, Bisbee AZ 85603. They will be $12 at the door.
