Tucson: Casting Call, UofA student film, "1,000 Words"

UofA Student filmmakers looking to cast a student crime film

The title of the film is currently 1,000 Words. It is a short film in
the crime melodrama vein. It is written and crewed entirely by members
of the University Filmmakers Organization. There will be no
compensation as it is a student film.

There will be auditions on February second, from 8:30, until all
participants have performed.

provide me with any contact information and a preferred time for
auditions. Head shots and resumes are not necessary, but would be
appreciated. Time conflicts are not a problem, we can fit you in on a
different date if need be.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Sean Pritchards - a detective with a long time on the force. Rugged
and worn, he's in his late fifties (somewhat flexible). He's obsessed
with catching the killer, and will stop at almost nothing, although he
still has a sense of justice. He's a man tormented by the
responsibility of his partner's death years before.

Marshall Specter - the villain of the story. He's a serial killer
with a warped sense of justice and a cold calculating mind. In his
early thirties (flexible), Marshall has a twisted charm and a warm
smile. He believes that what he's doing is justice.

Stanley Richardson - a forensic photographer, Stan is new on the
force. He's in his early twenties and has a bad case of allergies most
of the time. He has a strong sense of justice and a kind smile, he
believes in what in does.

Al Stone - A colleague of Sean's in his late forties(somewhat
flexible). A good cop with a sense of humor and a good work ethic, he
usually works with Sean on all his cases. Richard Wellsberg -
Marshall's last victim. In his early thirties, he's an extremely
wealthy man, selfish and self-centered, who cares about no one but
himself. He's also a thief and a coward.

Reporter - asks Sean questions about investigating the murders.
