  TUCSON HORROR FILM CASTING (UPDATED)

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.

 

TUCSON, ARIZONA, January 1, 2008 - Shadoworks Entertainment® (www.shadoworksentertainment.com) announces a public casting call for the FEMALE LEAD in the upcoming horror film "SURVIVE." This High Definition digital cinema production is set to begin mid August in and around Tucson, Arizona. Prospective actresses should have an outgoing personality and positive attitude. They should be between the ages of 18 and 35 and in reasonably good to great shape. It is important to note that THIS ROLE REQUIRES SOME NUDITY. No prior acting experience is required, though it is preferred. Pay is a one-time flat day rate which is TBD in addition to DVD copies of the finished film.

 

Additional supporting roles are also being filled from this casting call which is open to anyone.

ABOUT THE FILM:

 

Truth is far more terrifying than fiction..."SURVIVE" is an independent short film inspired by state police records and FBI case files documenting the harrowing ordeal of a kidnapped prostitute held captive in the lair of one of America's most disturbing serial killers. The events documented in this case served as inspiration for successful genre films like "HOSTEL" and "SAW. The project has an estimated production budget of approximately $20,000 and will shoot for three weekends in and around TUCSON, PHOENIX and SIERRA VISTA, ARIZONA. It will be produced with HIGH DEFINITION digital cinema equipment for DVD and web distribution. The finished short film will be used as the "show reel" promoting the FEATURE LENGTH version of this project which is currently in development. "SURVIVE" will also be submitted for competition to a variety of genre film festivals including:
