Auditions for The Laramie Project will be held at 6:30pm on August 17th and 18th  for early October performances.

A compelling docudrama, The Laramie Project tells how the people of Laramie, Wyoming, reacted to the shock and stress of the Matthew Sheppard beating death. The play covers the year from his death to the trial of two young Laramie men. Told in the words of individual Laramie residents, a number of viewpoints are expressed.

We are looking for actors (or those who want to give it a try) of all ages and orientations.  Each member of the cast will play multiple roles – there are over 75 Laramie residents portrayed in the show. The cast will include 4 women and 8 men.

Scripts are now available for review by calling DD at 777-4478 or Susan at 207-4045.

The Santa Cruz Shoestring Players is a non-profit community theatre in Green Valley, and we welcome all who want to participate – there is always lots to do. Rehearsals and performances will be at the Pima County Performing Arts and Learning Center in Green Valley, 1250 W. Continental.
