Global Change Theater Company, Tucson debut, October 17, 2014, Sea Of Glass--Center For The Arts

An Evening of Global Change Theatre

Friday, October 17, 2014, @ 7:00 PM

Global Change Theater Company will be making their Tucson debut with an evening of theater and song, featuring an original one-act play, spoken word, and music from 4 of the shows from their upcoming 2014-15 residency at the Sea Of Glass--Center For The Arts. Experience an evening of entertaining, thought provoking, and emotionally engaging theater as Global Change Theater delves into topics of activism, consciousness, and spirituality.

Global Change Theater Company originated on Fourth Avenue 35 years ago in Tucson in the late nineteen-seventies when founder Gabriel of Urantia formed the troupe as part of a local outreach ministry. He used to take the group to the county jail to entertain the prisoners. Since then the troupe has found several incarnations; from street theater antics, to full-length original musical theater. Currently, Global Change Theater Company is comprised of roughly 20 young actors who utilize the art of theater, dance and song to examine pressing social problems while illuminating them with an expanded context of hope for a better future.

Season tickets will be available at the evening preview for all four of the shows in Global Change Theater Company’s upcoming residency at the Sea Of Glass--Center For The Arts. Shows include, The God Child Came in December 2014, A New Beginning in April 2015, The Great American Dream in July 2015, and Twilight of the Dawn in October 2015. (Final dates to be announced)
