Subject: Actors Needed
I'm directing a staged reading of Gavin Kayner's play "Missionary Positions."
The play involves a pot growin nun (hey, it's to relieve suffering), a couple of 'gangstahs' (one of whom is pregnant),a monk with whom all the women want to bunk, an Hispanic undercover DEA agent, and a few other zany beings that make up the world of this play.
The play is a farce, really fast and funny (and irreverent). If you think you'd fit in well, then I may have a part that would be perfect for you!
We need availability for probably four to six rehearsals in October.
Also, the performance night is October 31, 2015, which is Halloween.
The roles we need are:
1. a gangster kind-of-guy who can be rough and yet carry off sexual innuendo.
2. another male who can be a hardboiled dumb-cop-type person with a barking laugh.
3. a brother who plays a Brother whom women have a hard time keeping their hands off!
Please let me know if you're interested and we can get together and talk about the role.
Thanks.
