Arizona's award winning "under rehearsed and over dramatic" musical comedy troupe Musical Mayhem Cabaret is holding auditions for new cast members on Friday, November 20th at 6pm! Please contact musicalmayhemcabaret@gmail.com or 520-304-2007 to arrange your audition (or just show up at 6pm!)
We'd like to hear approximately 32 bars of 2 contrasting songs (one fast/one ballad or one funny/one serious or one showtune/one rock song - you get the idea.) You can sing acapella or with a karaoke track that you provide on CD or any device that can plug into a speaker. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have them, but no experience is required.
Musical Mayhem Cabaret is about to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We were recently nominated for Best Emerging Arts Organization in the Tucson Lumie Awards, and won Best New Stage Show in the Best of Tucson Weekly 2011. We have performed in Phoenix, Tucson, Casa Grande, and Flagstaff, and have been featured on The Morning Blend, in The Arizona Daily Star, the Tucson Weekly, and Echo Magazine.
You must be over 18 (16 with parent's permission AND a parent must be in attendance.) We encourage people of all ages, ethnicities, body types, vocal styles, gender expressions, religions, and experience to audition!
