Tucson, Arizona--Pima Community College Chorale & College Singers, under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Ng, present a winter concert featuring the Chorale singing folk song "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair," arr. by Norman Luboff; Disney favorite "When You Wish Upon a Star," arr. by Roy Ringwald; and choral selections from "My Fair Lady," arr. by Andy Beck.

College Singers present a group of madrigals and a motet, from the Renaissance period, by British composer Thomas Morley including "My Bonny Lass She Smileth," "Agnus Dei" (Lamb of God) and "Sing We and Chant It." They also sing Faure's sacred choral piece "Cantique de Jean Racine" (Song of Jean Racine) and the Christmas spiritual "Rise Up Shepherd," arr. by John Rutter.

The concert ends with "In dulci jubilo" (In sweet rejoicing) based on the Old 100th Psalm tune by 20th century composer Gordon Young, "Kyrie" and "Gloria" from "Credo Mass, K. 257" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. These pieces are performed by both Chorale and College Singers accompanied by Mr. David Craig, piano.

Pima Community College Center for the Arts is located on the West Campus just west of downtown and I-10 on St. Mary's Rd, which turns into Anklam Rd. Box office hours are Tuesday-Friday, noon to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to performance.
