Playwright David Rabe drew on his experiences as an Army draftee in the Vietnam War to creates a train wreck of emotion and dysfunction in PCC theatre arts STICKS AND BONES, a darkly comic portrayal of a damaged and tormented veteran's return home from the Vietnam War.

Using the model of the ideal American family from the popular radio and television sitcom "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" (1952-1966), Rabe offers up an insight that is both counter to that image and shocking to behold. STICKS AND BONES won the 1972 Tony Award for Best Play. Directed by Todd Poelstra.
Contains mature themes and language.
