STARRING ROLE OF SHREK NEEDED IMMEDIATELY
Are you ready to challenge yourself, help others and create something special in your lives??
Building careACTOR is looking for someone to play the title role of SHREK in their production of "Shrek, The Musical." All ages considered.
As we all know Shrek is a big, green, terrifying ogre who live alone on a swamp. He begins as a grumpy hermit, but reveals his layers and eventually becomes the hero. Vocal Range is A2- G#4
This is a one-of-a-kind program, in collaboration with the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind, which has been recognized by the Arizona Commission for the Arts this year for innovation in programming. Building careACTOR unites deaf or blind students with performers that can see/hear. Together they perform a full-length musical production. This is one of the first programs of its kind in the US. Deaf West presently has a production of Spring Awakening that is on Broadway using similar techniques that are used in Building careACTOR's productions.
