Hi everyone!
We are excited to bring a new edition of our Songbook Series to Z Mansion. On Monday, January 11 at 7pm, we will celebrate the music of Harold Arlen. Arlen was one of the great jazz, Broadway and Hollywood composers of the '30s and '40s. With lyricists like Ted Koehler, Johnny Mercer and Yip Harburg, he brought us such classics as "Get Happy", "Come Rain or Come Shine", "Blues in the Night" and "Over the Rainbow". Tickets for the Songbook concert are $15 and are available online at www.lisaotey.com. You can also make a reservation by email (lisa@owlsnestmusic.com) or phone, 370.5912, and pay at the door. Z Mansion is located at 288 N. Church.
We have been invited to continue singing on the Terraza at Hacienda del Sol, on 2nd and 4th Sundays. We will see you there Jan. 10 & 24 and Feb. 14 & 28 from 6-9pm. It isn't too early to make your reservations for Valentine's Day! They will offer an a la carte menu on the Terraza that night. For reservations on the Terraza, please call 529.3500. Thanks to you, our Lisa Otey and the Desert Divas: Motown show on Mon., Jan. 25 at Gaslight is filling up fast! Our 7pm is sold out but we still have a few tables left for the 3pm show. If you want to look ahead, we will bring our Fabulous '50s show there on Mon., March 21; Honky Tonk Divas on Mon., June 13 and Sept. 12; and Summer of Love: the '60s on Mon., July 25.
