A truly unique offering from Brian Davis and Miguel Bernal, PINK MARTINI percussionists.
Come and learn an arrangement that blends Brazilian and Cuban rhythms.
RSVP highly suggested, as drum availability is not unlimited. Instruments used will be those typically found in these arrangements, including but not limited to:
bata, congas, surdo, caixa (snare), repenique, tamborim, agogo (bell), chekere
If you have your own, please bring them. Some working knowledge of these instruments is helpful, as we will be jumping right into it, lead by these two fantastic players and teachers.
The workshop will end promptly at 7:30, as we need to get Brian and Miguel over to Centennial Hall for the Pink Martini concert. Are you going? Tickets still available HERE!
