The Comedy Playhouse

Come for the fun of it!!

Greetings, intrepid theater fans!  Need a break from your spring cleaning?  Treating your out of town guests to dinner and a show?  Whatever the reason, the Playhouse has family-friendly comedy for all seasons!  Here's what's on our ticket for the upcoming months:

The Importance of Being Ernestine:  March 31-April 23
Our adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic comedy is sure to leave you chuckling!  (There will be NO show on Easter Sunday, April 16)

Radio Show (Title TBA): April 28- May 7
If you enjoy classic radio-style performances, you'll definitely love this performance!  Let us dig through our archives and find something fun for the whole family!

Sweetwater Cemetery:  May 12- June 4
From the pen of local playwright Pere Summers comes another original comedy!  The ghostly residents of Sweetwater Cemetery must go up against a voodoo priestess and a psychic in a comedy of curses, spells, and accidental vaporization!

We love what we do at The Comedy Playhouse.  We have so much fun bringing these shows to the stage and sharing our joy with our audiences.  We believe that the arts are a fundamental building block in a healthy community.  And so, we'd like to help promote our fellow theaters, because we're all in this together.  Here are some projects going on in theaters near you that we are excited about:
