Tucson, Arizona – Winding Road Theatre Company is proud to bring News of the World and Other Stories by Ron Carlson. This series of stories adapted for the stage will be produced at The Temple of Music and Art Cabaret Theater, 330 S. Scott Avenue, from May 11 — May 28. Special preview performance Thursday, May 11, 7:30 PM, Fridays 5/12, 5/19, 5/26 and Saturdays 5/13, 5/20, 5/27 at 7:30 PM, and Sunday 5/14, 5/21, and 5/28 at 2:00 PM.
Adapted for the stage these short stories, reminiscent of tabloid news, present a delightful series of lifelike situations. Whether it is a psychic coming clean, or Bigfoot finally going public, or a woman with news regarding what the afterlife is really like. These characters come from a world that is both magical and dangerous, speaking their truth with disarming honesty. This production is directed by Leslie J Miller, and features Susan Arnold, Seonaid Barngrover, Roger Owen, India Osborne & Steve Wood.
Ticket prices range from $20 - $25. Student, Senior and Group rates available.
