This is a hands on rare opportunity to practice making a mock TV show. Come prepared with ideas to try, practice the different roles – or just be audience members to give feedback for the performers.

Producers – PITCH your TALK SHOW IDEA to a panel of experienced producers
Hosts – Learn the basics of how to be a good talk show host
Actors – Learn how to handle Q &amp; A like a pro
Camera People – run the TV Studio cameras
Editors – Learn the basics of live switching.
Studio Tour – learn about lighting, sound, and technical requirements
Production Van for live events – see where the magic happens.

Presenters:

Harry Findysz – Production Manager – Numerous Arizona Features, TV shows and Live Events

Genie Joseph, PhD – Producer/Director – Former ABC staff Producer/Director, winner of International film awards and host of her own TV and Radio talk show in Honolulu.

Meet the Panelists 

 

 

GENIE JOSEPH 

Former CEO of Hawaii Movie Studios. She was co-producer of Nickelodeon's Beyond the Break for three seasons.  Award-winning film and television director.  Her feature films have been on Variety's Top 50 list and have won international awards. Staff producer/director at KITV-4, (The ABC Affiliate in Honolulu), directed hundreds of TV commercials.  Genie is the author of twenty screenplays – ten of which have been sold and produced by independent companies.
 
She's worked with such clients as The New York City Office of Business Development, Chase Manhattan Bank, Jaguar Cars, Mobil Oil, Time, Inc and many other companies.  

With an MFA, she teaches Television Production and Screenwriting at Chaminade University. 

She recently moved to Tucson, where she is founder of The Animal Consciousness Institute.
