Training Center NEWS!!
We've redesigned our Unscrewed Theater Training Center, making it easier for you to take (and retake!) the improv classes you want, need, & love.
Our beginning class is still 8 weeks long, but ALL our advanced Blox are 4 weeks long & ONLY $100. Each Blox focuses on a particular aspect of improv - letting you explore improv in more detail than ever before.
Even if you don't have the bug to be a performer. Improv helps you get more out of your personal relationships, business relationships, and life in general - AND IT'S FUN!

Improv 101 Instructor
Chris Seidman
Chris has been a performing member of Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed since 2005, and teaching improv for over four years.
In addition to collaborating with Unscrewed Theater's professional instructor team, he has studied improv theory & practice with a variety of Improv veterans, including educational directors of Second City and iO.bChris believes the world would be a better place if everyone took an improv class. AND, it's fun! Improv changes lives.

Your improv initiation starts with Improv 101, where you'll explore the basic elements of improv.
We focus on games & exercises that encourage trust, communication, agreement ("yes and"), active listening, character, status, and making your scene partner look good.
So. Much. Fun.
After completion of our 101 class, you're eligible to take ANY of our other Improv Blox!
After you've taken Improv 101, you can taken ANY of our New BLOX!

"Relationships" Instructor

Tuesdays, 7:00 - 9:30
Starting August 8th - for 4 Weeks
Tuition: $100
Prerequisite: Beginning Improv Class
You'll focus on establishing clearly defined and dynamic relationships between characters, and how those connections will drive and heighten the action and direction of the scene.
Jessica Spenny has been at main stage player with Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed for over ten years and has been teaching for three.
She holds a bachelors degree in theater with a emphasis in directing from University of Michigan and combines a passion for performance with grounded, real world techniques in her classes!
"Scene Craft" Instructor

Starting August 9th - for 4 Weeks
Tuition: $100
Prerequisite: Beginning Improv Class
You'll build confidence in your skills to create and maintain scenes, working within an ensemble. You'll understand what happens at the top of a scene and how it guides scene choices. Learning how your characters relate to each other is the magical ingredient that will creates compelling and entertaining scenes.
Mike has been studying, performing and teaching improv for 15 years. He is one of the founding members of Unscrewed Theater and performs weekly with the Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed.He firmly believes that the skills you learn in improv are directly applicable to everyday life as well!
