The TIM Bar is Open

About two years ago, we started the process to sell beer and wine at our shows.  That process involved purchasing a license and a move, since we were not able to use our license at our former location.  Since we moved we have been eagerly awaiting the day we could add this offering to the theater.  Last Friday at 2:30pm the state officially approved us, and we started selling beer last weekend.  

If you haven't visited us for a while we would love for you to come to a show soon, and enjoy a drink in our brand new air conditioned space!  We have a great selection of local craft beers for you to choose from.  We are serving the Dragoon IPA, Dragoon Santa Cruz'r, Borderlands Citrana, and the Thunder Canyon Amber.  We will be adding a few wine selections in the coming weeks.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision a reality, especially April McMahon our liquor license consultant.  Finley Distributing our distributor for getting us product so quickly Friday afternoon.  And a big thank you to the TIM performing company who I am honored to serve, as we work to become Tucson's Premier Comedy Destination!

 

TIM Bar Grand Opening Weekend

Next weekend we celebrate the Grand Opening of the TIM Bar with a ton of amazing shows and events.  

  • Friday, May 25th
    • 9pm - the 200th Soap Box show with special guest monologist Kelly Fryer an Arizona Gubernatorial Candidate.
  • Saturday, May 26th

Weekend Specials Include:

  • Raffles of items from local businesses to support TCAF and CFCF Headliners
  • All classic TIM and festival shirts will be $5.
  • Announcement of the TCAF and CFCF headliners.

This Weekend at TIM

This Friday for the Soap Box we are lucky to have Joe Pagac back for a second round of storytelling.  Joe is an artist, a craftsman, a performer and a world traveler.  He is most known for his amazing murals around town. 

On Saturday night we debut the Match Game at TIM.   Your whole family will enjoy this live game show based on the 70s classic or maybe the modern Alec Baldwin version. Want to play along? YOU can be a contestant, too! You could even win tickets to a future show!

Match Game contestants will match answers with a panel of celebrities portrayed by our improvisers. Who will you see this week? Steve Martin? Kid Rock? Humphrey Bogart? Maybe even Elvis?

Join the Movement, create a more fun life! Let us help you be more creative, spontaneous and playful while you have fun and make new friends.
