Open Casting Call:

Vail Theatre of the Arts and the Players of Penzance are holding auditions for their upcoming production of The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, March 13 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Vail Theatre of the Arts (10701 E Mary Ann Cleveland Way), with call-back auditions on Wednesday, March 20 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Actors will require a headshot and a resume, and must be prepared to either recite a 1-2-minute monologue (comedic or classical) or read from sides.

Those who have a conflict with the performance or tech week dates but who are interested in performing future shows with the Vail Theatre of the Arts and the Players of Penzance are still welcome to audition.

The casting of this show will be Shakespearean in style, so actors may audition for any role regardless of age, sex, or race. The roles are as follows.
