The award-winning Off-Broadway smash hit play was inspired by real events. A 14 year old bundle of energy named Vivian was shot by a white police officer, igniting one of the worst race riots in American history. No one knew anything about her, just her name, her age, and how she died. This jazz infused fantasia (not a musical) stars the critically acclaimed NYC cast, Russell Jordan and Kailah S. King, and gives Vivian a life, a family, and a love of music. This is a play filled with hope for these turbulent times!
