WANTED

ENTERTAINMENT SUPERVISOR

Looking for an energetic and motivated individual with performance
experience to provide supervision to the Entertainment Department. Must
have experience in supervising employees. Must be well organized, detailâ€'

oriented, reliable and have good follow through skills.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Overall administration of the Department, under the direction of its Manager.

· Inter-Departmental coordination of the Entertainment Cast/Show/Creative Team.

· Creation of all schedules (show schedules, cast schedules, project schedules, duty schedules) pertinent to the operation of the Department. Submits all schedules for approval.

· Accurate recordkeeping of documents, budgets and employee files.

· Handles administrative paperwork including purchasing, staffing and more.

· Assists in the handling of staff issues including discipline, auditions, hiring and training.

· Assists the Manager the department in meeting the needs of the company. This includes the creation and modification of shows, covering Group Sales, Film, Education and other special events; scheduling shows around the needs of the company and meeting all pertinent deadlines.

· Represents the Department at meetings as scheduled.

· Covers the duties of superior and subordinates as schedules and circumstances require.

· Supervises shifts, rehearsals, training sessions, department meetings and other sessions.

· Other duties as assigned.

Position requirements: Ability to assist in direction and scripting of shows, ability to perform basic typing, experience with MS Office (Word, Excel); 2 years experience in theatrical production and/or a 2 year degree in either business administration or performing arts preferred. Experience with stunts, live theme-park show production, vocal performance and/or dance choreography is considered a plus.

This position reports directly to the

Entertainment Manager and acts on his behalf during his absence.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

SUMMARY

Implements production plans during Entertainment offerings including rehearsals and performance. Installs, maintains and operates sound, lights, effects, and electrical at entertainment venues. Assists Technician/Information Systems Manager with installation, maintenance and repair of premise Information Systems including, servers, phone system, point of sale system, VHF/UHF radios, network and other related equipment. Promotes the maintenance of safe and conditions and implements measures to reduce or eliminate industrial accident and health hazards in compliance with OSHA regulation. Assists Technician/Information Systems Manager with the design, planning and construction, maintenance and alteration of Information Systems and Entertainment Technical equipment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

Keeps current record and inventory all technical equipment. Insures that all inventories are stored securely and performs maintenance in a timely manner.

Performs construction and installation, adhering to established specifications.

Performs equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance. Provides leadership by example to Technical/Information Systems personnel.

Provides Manager with input and suggestions on plans and schedules of work for maximum effective utilization of employees within budgetary and quality standards.

Assists with duties related to the security of the site information systems network. Executes Entertainment and Information Systems plans from a technical standpoint.

Provides trained and qualified resources to Entertainment Department for all aspects of lighting, sound, special effects, firearms and pyrotechnics to support Entertainment offerings. Operates technical equipment during and outside of live performances. Reads script during each performance and follows cues for curtain, lights, sound effects, and prompting performers.

Provides input to Manager on emergency substitutes for stage equipment or properties. Operates production equipment to transmit or record performance.

Performs assigned duties related to the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization

Implements and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.


Provides support to end users in the usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware. Performs computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.

Assists with maintenance of Point of Sale system, including minor troubleshooting of Micros workstations, printers, hubs/switches and server.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The United States Justice Department and BATF guidelines require all responsible personnel that come in contact with explosives to be registered. Ability to hold this registration is required.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge in troubleshooting both Software and Hardware issues on PC based computer systems, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows based operating systems.

Knowledge of circuit design and ability to repair to component level is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates degree in Engineering or Information Systems plus one year related experience and/or training; or two years to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from upper management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

See Education and/or Experience. Mathematic ability that is normally associated with a related level of experience is required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several ambiguous variables in standardized situations. Ability to problem solve complex technical programs and troubleshoot electronics.
