Coyote Ramblers Performing Artists, and Artfare / The Muse, present
AMERICAN ALBUM - VOLUME TWO (Lives on the Edge)
written and directed by Ken Tesoriere
for the January Reading Series, Sunday January7, 2007, at 2 pm
Four of five plays being considered for American Album - Volume Two,
to be presented on the Main-stage mid February, will be read by some of
Tucson's finest actors. The Plays are:
- THE LEDGE - things have turned bad in a young mind and going out
on a sixth-storey ledge seems the only solution. An older man who has
weathered life's trials longer, goes out on the ledge to talk the younger
man in. But sometimes things get stirred up that shouldn't be. Starring
Doug Mitchell and Alex Samaniego.
- SILK NAILS - a woman must tell her mate that more is happening
during business trips than business. Starring, Melissa Kiger and Jeff
Scotland.
- JONESING - a couple struggles and copes as street junkies, riding
the uncertain waves of their lives. Starring, Lisa Mae Roether and Alex
Samaniego.
- GOD'S HAND - can the power of caring and love of a wife help a
husband understand a simple fact of life? Starring, Mellisa Kiger and
Steve McKee.
Writer and Director, Ken Tesoriere, has won numerous regional and
national awards for his
theater plays, and for his direction. His works are seen
continually around the United States and Europe.
About the choices and quality of Coyote Ramblers work, James Reel,
lead theater reviewer for the Tucson Weekly, recently stated: "(Tucson)
needs a troupe like this that fearlessly embraces
uncertainty."
