A full time position of Camera/Studio Technician is now open in the Operations Department of KOLD.
Basic Functions:
Operates studio equipment for newscasts, commercial production and public affairs programming.
Responsibilities:
Operates studio equipment including camera, teleprompter and audio board.
Participates in studio equipment set-up
Assists in the set-up and execution of field (remote) productions
Views taped shows for air quality and length
Will take part in various in-house workshops to enhance skills
Rolls tapes for newscasts as assigned
Records news feed during scheduled hours.
May handle station shipping, receiving and record keeping as assigned
Must be available for all operating shifts.
Performs additional responsibilites as required.
Qualifications:
Computer expertise, floor directing, audio directing and related technical training preferred.
Must be able to acceptably read, write and speak the English language.
