Tucson: UA Hanson Film Institute workshop "The Art of Pitching"

PITCHING WORKSHOP

The Hanson Film Institute at UA is presenting a two-day workshop, "The Art of Pitching," on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24 and 25. Producer, writer and development executive Lorna Soroko will be teaching the skills needed to pitch a film project to entertainment-industry professionals; the workshop will include an opportunity to pitch directly to a visiting producer.

Cost is $95 for full-time students and $150 for nonstudents. Applications are due by Friday, Feb. 9; e-mail Vicky Westover for more information and an application.
