FEVER! A Musical Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee traces the career of the pop and jazz legend through her music, from her beginnings as a “girl singer” with the Benny Goodman Orchestra, to her six-decade long career in nightclubs and film, and on radio and television. Her recordings earned twelve Grammy nominations and one Grammy Award for “Is That All There Is?”  By the end of her career, Peggy Lee was honored with the Songwriters’ Guild of America Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Society of Singers “Ella” Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP).  Peggy Lee died in 2002.

Fever! A Musical Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee, is a one-woman show
featuring Betty Craig, who conceived and wrote it.  Accompaniment is provided by the Jeff Haskell Trio, with musical direction and arrangements by Jeff Haskell.

Some of the Peggy Lee hits included are “Why Don’t You Do Right?”; “I Don’t Know Enough about You”; “I’m A Woman”;  “Is That All There Is?”;  and of course, “Fever.”

FEVER! A Musical Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee plays at the Doubletree Hotel, 455 S. Alvernon Way for one night only.  Doors open at 6:30 for open cabaret seating. 
FEVER! A Musical Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee has a running time of approximately 75 minutes.
