BORDERLANDS THEATER TO PRESENT THE WORLD PREMIERE OF THE COMEDY "EARTHQUAKE
CHICA" BY ANNE GARCIA ROMERO, JUNE 7-17 AT THE BEOWULF ALLEY THEATRE, 11
SOUTH 6TH AVENUE.
"Earthquake Chica" by Los Angeles based playwright Anne Garcia-Romero is a
hilarious play about wild and kooky Esmeralda and socially challenged
accountant Sam Reyes. Esmeralda's and Sam's off-the-wall acquaintance
brings unexpected changes in both characters and confronts them with their
cultural heritage as they try to build a life together.
The World Premiere of "Earthquake Chica" is directed by Eva Tessler and
features local actress Alida Wilson Gunn and L.A. based actor Joe Quintero.
