When the World Was Green
By Joseph Chaiken and Sam Shepard

Directed by
Bruce Bieszki

A hauntingly lyrical memory play, When the World Was Green is a world of sensual delight, of great
journeys to distant lands, and exotic food. But under the surface lies a family vendetta.  A young reporter (Joanna Keyl) comes to interview an old man (Bruce Bieszki) who has been imprisoned for many years
after poisoning a man he thought to be his cousin.

Through their conversations and recollection of childhoods, the two unfold their regrets and losses, but eventually find mutual forgiveness, compassion
and love.

The performance will be Sunday, August 5 2007
 at 7:00 pm.
  Seating is limited.
