The Rogue Theatre
Job Posting: Assistant Stage Managers
Candidates must be at least high school juniors, possess a general knowledge of theater production, and able to attend all rehearsals and performances.
Candidates may apply for one, two, or three productions. Consideration will be given to candidates applying for the full season.
Required Skills: Ability to communicate and work with a wide range of people. Ability to operate basic office equipment. General computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet.) Highly organized and skilled in time management.
Preferred Skill: Experience in running performances or stage management.
Duties: Working with the Production Stage Manager, attend and assist in the running and management of rehearsals and performances; acquire rehearsal props, coordinate props with scenic designer, set and manage props for performances; manage rehearsal costumes and track costume changes; attend production meetings; assist with maintenance of rehearsal hall and performance space.
Compensation:
First Assistant: $300 stipend plus 4 complimentary tickets for run of show per production
Second Assistant: $200 stipend plus 4 complimentary tickets for run of show per production
Season Dates:
The Cherry Orchard: Immediately â€" September 23, 2007
The Goat: October 22, 2007 â€" January 20, 2008
Red Noses: January 23, 2008 â€" April 13, 2008
