FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Tucson, AZ--October 5, 2007)— Beowulf Alley Theatre Company, 11 South 6th Avenue, Tucson (between Broadway and Congress), will hold auditions for Fifth Planet and Other Plays by David Auburn on Sunday, October 14, 2007, at 6:15p. We are seeking 5M and 5F between ages of 16 and 60s.
Nell Summers will direct the production. Rehearsals will begin the first week of November with performances running from January 19-February 10, 2008.
Appointments for an audition may be made by calling 622-4460 or e-mail theatre@beowulfalley.org. Please provide a resume and headshot and plan a one-minute monologue or plan for a cold reading from sides. Actors will be given time to review the sides prior to the audition. Callbacks are at 9p the same evening. For specific questions about roles, call 270-9310.
Fifth Planet and Other Plays is a collection of one-act plays with a variety of characters. It is possible that one actor will play multiple characters while others may play a single character.
