Film Title: The Mathematicians' Duel.

Actors: ages 25-38

Cowboy: mid-size, decent build, must be strong/talented actor

James Bond: taller, lanky would be a plus, must be strong/talented actor

Synopsis:

The Mathematicians’ Duel
A contemporary/comedy/short western film

This film chronicles a duel between two nerdy mathematicians who have a score to settle with each other. Since their lives are so logical (this is part of the problem); they have decided to solve their problems in this illogical fashion. At first, they are all gung ho about the duel. One mathematician dresses like a pseudo James Bond and the other wears his finest cowboy outfit. As the film proceeds, though, they find themselves dragging their feet. They begin to accuse each other of having unfair advantages, and they subsequently attempt to solve all the “variables” of their duel – the slope of the ground, the wind factor, the length of their arms, etc, etc. The result is the fairest and most entertaining duel ever held in the west.

Out of the Box Pictures is casting for a Short Film.

Cast Members

MAN: Lead, Male, Mid-20s, athletic build.

Interrogator: Lead, Male, Mid- 30s, tall, clean-cut, well built.

Woman: Lead, Female, Mid-20s to 30s. slim, tall, long hair. Has to be comfortable wearing a form-fitting dress.

Two Doctors: Male, Elderly looking.


Extras
Male, over eighteen, clean cut.
*If you are interested in being an extra, you DO NOT have to come to the auditions. Just send Kendall an email with contact information, height, and picture (if possible).
*Only needed for one day.

All others are welcomed to audition.
