This is a look at the Robin Hood legend that you've never seen. The music
is beautiful and stirring. The somewhat familiar story is fun, touching
and moving. As children, Robert of Wakefield and his beloved Matilda used
to play together acting out the roles of Robin and Marian from the classic
french play by Adam de la Halle. A neighbor boy, Henry de Faucumberg often
played with them. They let Henry play the villain, always seeking the hand
of Marian and never winning her favor. And these are the lives they lived.
Henry became the Sheriff of Nottingham. This is a great love story
surrounded by treachery, tragedy, faith & courage.
