Open Audition! Ages 13 - 20

Attention talented high school students!

We are looking for individuals and groups to perform at Everyday Heroes, the 6th annual awards event honoring high school students, coaches, officials, administrators and teachers from throughout the state of Arizona for exemplifying character and honor in their achievements. A partnership between the AIA and Cox Communications, Everyday Heroes is an Academy Awards-style show that will take place on May 17th, 2008 at the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix, and will be televised live in Phoenix and Tucson on Cox7-Arizona.

We are looking for talent acts to perform during the show and will be holding open auditions in Tucson:

Tucson, AZ 85730

Requirements:
Performers must be between the ages of 13-20.
Acts can be individual or groups and should be between 2-4 minutes in length. Singers, musicians, dancers or other creative acts are welcome.

If selected, performers MUST be available on Friday, May 16th and Saturday May 17th for rehearsals and the show.
Performers will not be paid, however if selected, complimentary tickets to the event will be provided for you and your guests, and you will be provided with a video copy of your performance.

Performers will be required to sign a release allowing Cox Communications to televise their performance.

Audition Details
This is an open call audition with no scheduled appointments. Performers will be seen in order of arrival.
If you have track music, please bring it in CD format. If you do not have it in CD format, you may sing a cappella at the audition.
Microphones will be provided.
There will be a piano available at the auditions. No other equipment will be provided, however power will be available.
We will be video taping the audition for review purposes.
