C.A.S.T. Clean and Sober Theatre looking for young people to tell their personal stories

C.A.S.T. is looking for young people to tell their personal stories with this dynamic theatre troupe for the 2008-2009 season.

 

C.A.S.T. is composed of young people between the ages of 13 and 23 whose lives have been impacted by addiction. They undergo intensive training to gain insight into the pressures affecting their addiction and recovery, help create a script, and then take the stage to reveal the progression of the disease, the impact on family members and the challenges of recovery. C.A.S.T. performs at high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, treatment centers, and conferences, educating young people, families, and the professionals that serve them, on issues regarding drug and alcohol use and addictive disease. Cast members rehearse12-16 hours per week & perform 1-3 shows per week during the school year.
